Rotherham United midfielder Chris Dawson has concluded his loan spell with Viking Stavanger.

The 22-year-old has returned to AESSEAL New York Stadium after agreeing a loan until January with the Norwegian club.

The midfielder, who signed for the club in 2016 after a spell with Leeds United, is now back in South Yorkshire and training with the Millers.

“Chris is back with us now,” Interim manager Paul Warne told www.themillers.co.uk

“I welcomed him back yesterday, shook his hand and told him it is a clean slate. If he proves to be one of the best players in training then, like anyone else, he will get his chance. I will look at all the possibilities that are available to me. I like him as a player. He is a midfielder who likes to break the lines, and likes the ball at his feet, so we will look to see what I can get out of him.”
