Rotherham United would like to extend another huge thank you to our supporters who helped to raise a further £1,739 - the profits from which will go to the Rotherham Hospice - to add to the already brilliant sum raised by the sale of 100 replica warm up shirts.

Warm up shirts worn and hand-signed by the likes of Viktor Johansson, Lee Peltier, Jordan Hugill, Sam Nombe, and more were available for supporters to bid on, with the profits from the auctions operated by MatchWornShirt.com going to the Rotherham Hospice.

The aforementioned four commanded the highest fee come closing time, with Viktor's shirt raising £321 itself! Peltier, Nombe, and Hugill's shirts all raised £167 each, with those worn by Cam Humphreys, Ollie Rathbone, and Hakeem Odoffin not finishing up far from that amount either.

The shirts, worn prior to Steve Evans’ first game back at AESSEAL New York Stadium against Birmingham City, will now be packed and shipped to the respective winners of each auction.

The Millers would also like to place on record their thanks to official trainingwear sponsors Guardian Electrical Compliance and their Managing Director Richard Roebuck for their continued commitment to charity, as it was with their blessing that we were able to substitute the Rotherham Hospice logo for their branding.

Further thanks must also go to both the people over at MatchWornShirt, who facilitated the selling process, and our six ‘Diamond Partners’, who selflessly pledged a considerable financial outlay to facilitate the club’s kits carrying the Rotherham Hospice logo as the main sponsor for the season.
